This is the kit we recommend for the best balance of performance and comfort, designed from the factory to have the best overall compromise of spring rate, ride height range, top mount design and damping rate to suit most car owners.
It is more than capable of handling quick laps on the road and track, but also maintains a high degree of ride comfort, so the car can still be used for mundane tasks and long journeys without the drive becoming tiring.

The BR Series sets use a generously sized piston (46mm diameter) in a 53mm shock body to maximise oil capacity.
When the shock absorber is stressed, the oil inside it heats up.
The viscosity of the oil changes as its temperature changes, which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit.
BC Racing only uses the highest quality oil with its set-ups, but goes that extra mile to maximise performance and builds its BR range with a large shock body. This increases the capacity of the shock absorber and in turn increases the volume of oil contained, which reduces the peak temperature and therefore significantly improves the performance of the shock absorber.
