CANchecked Display MFD15 Gen2 dedicated to Fiat 500 Abarth 595 LHD/RHD: all parameters in the driver's field of vision.
We are proud to present the dedicated CANchcheck display. The advanced MFD15 display integrates perfectly with the vehicle interior thanks to a specially designed ventilation grille similar to the original design.
The MFD15 Gen2 is equipped with an OLED screen that ensures the best readability even in direct sunlight. Thanks to the external diameter of 52 mm, the display is compatible with many frames and holders available on the market. Operation is via two buttons mounted on the windscreen or an optional rotary knob.
Key Features:
Compact design: 52mm diameter and only 12.5mm deep
Switching flash: The LED on the front of the display can be used as a switching flash and/or as a warning LED and can be freely configured
Can Bus: Supports Can Bus ECUs, OBD2 from 2008 and deep values for VW/Audi from 2008 or create your own Can Stream.
WLAN: Connect to your smartphone or computer and complete all steps via our online service.
Additional inputs: Connect up to 6 analog sensors to the inputs or connect an ethanol sensor* directly to the display.
Preset alarms: Preset alarms can be easily activated and customized. An example would be a notification when the exhaust gas temperature exceeds 900 degrees.
Personalization: Use your launch logo or image to make it your MFD15 Gen2
Online logging*: Record data using your smartphone or computer and save it on your device for later analysis.
Flex Fuel*: View ethanol content and temperature on the display

Online DSS - oDSS:
New to the MFD15 Gen2 is access to the device via WLAN. This allows you to configure the MFD15 Gen2 using a smartphone or computer.
With oDSS you can fully configure the display, record the values (license required), upload your own boot image and update the display.
Supported values:
A common question from customers is: "What values can I request from my ECU?" Answer: "ALL" - Our MFD15 Gen2 complies with ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284 standards.
The ECU manufacturers themselves determine which values are sent via the CAN bus interface. This is where documentation is important, perhaps even in the form of a DBC file that can be imported via our DSS. Of course, as a customer you can access our extensive list of already implemented ECUs. In total, depending on the manufacturer, the values of 64 sensors can be queried and read.
OBD2 via Can Bus (11bit/29bit) is also implemented. Vehicle-specific protocols such as UDS or TP2 are also available.
By default, the following are included:
-OBD2 - 11 and 29 bit
- ECUmaster - Classic and Black
-VAGPQ34
-Haltech v2
-LinkECU
-MaxxECU
-Motec M1
-Emtron
- Megasquirt 2 and 3
If your desired ECU is not listed, you can download or TRI/TRX from our database.
Detailed data according to the protocol is offered for all VW/Audi from model year 2008 onwards. Values such as oil temperature, boost pressure, transmission temperature, selective ignition timing of the cylinders, high/low pressure, wastegate activation and many more can be read and displayed.
Internal LED
The internal LED can be used as a switching flash or warning LED.
As a switching flash, up to 8 different colors and limits can be assigned, as well as the value at which the flash starts to flash.
As a warning LED, you can assign a minimum and maximum value to each sensor (in oDSS via "Sensors") and also activate the "LED" there. If the sensor is above the maximum value or below the minimum value, the LED will flash in the previously configured color. During the warning, the flash is deactivated.
Connection and composition of the set:
The set includes:
-MFD15 Gen2 display
-Connector B (6 pin) Connector C (12 pin)
-20 cm pre-crimped connection cables for power, CAN bus, analog inputs, 5 V and sensor ground
-pins for self-crimping
-two 1K resistors
Any sensor can be connected to six analog inputs: linear 0-5 V and NTC sensors are supported.
CANchecked sensors are stored in TRI/TRX files by default and only require connection:
AIN1: Temperature sensor
AIN2: Exhaust gas temperature sensor transducer type K
AIN3: Pressure sensor 0-10 bar
AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0-5.5 Bar
AIN5: Not pre-configured
AIN6: Not pre-configured
For the connection you can use our pre-assembled 4-way AIN wiring harness.
If you have the appropriate license*, you can also connect the ethanol sensor directly to the display using a separate pin.
Optional accessories:
CC24000 SLM08 - Gear shift display
CC22100 CBD08 - Container distribution block with 8 inputs
CC22902 NTC01 - Liquid temperature sensor 1/8" NPT
CC22903 TCC01 - EGT probe signal transducer type K 0-1250°C
CC22901 FLP01 - Pressure sensor 0-10 Bar (145psi) M10x1
CC22900 BST01 - Pressure sensor 0-5.5 Bar absolute (80psi)
*Additional licenses
Real-time data logging
With the additional license "Live Logging", the display can log sensor data in oDSS. You can then download the logbook as a file to your smartphone or computer.
All sensors are logged in the logbook (NOTE: only for OBD and UDS currently displayed!). Select the sensors you want to display graphically.
Flex Fuel - Ethanol Sensor
An additional license for the ethanol sensor allows you to connect the sensor directly to the display. A resistor (10K) is required between 5V and the signal.
Now you can see and record the ethanol content and the fuel temperature.
Switching and AIN possible
With the additional license for Can Switching and AIN you can switch the Can Switches with the display buttons or the dial and apply the input voltages of the analog inputs to the Can Bus.
